About
Kahnawake Arrowhead FC is a multi-team senior women's soccer association that was founded with the goal of wanting to encourage and increase female participation in competitive soccer, place emphasis on local Indigenous talent, and provide a mentally and physically healthy outlet to our athletes.
We currently consist of three teams, our Arrowhead FC 1's, Arrowhead FC 2's, and our Arrowhead FC Juniors, playing in the ARSSO, Lac St. Louis, and VDMSL leagues in the summer and winter.

our historyKahnawake Arrowhead FC, originally founded as Kahnawake Senior Women's Soccer in 2021 by Paxton Phillips, was born from a desire to bring senior women's soccer to the forefront in the community. Frustrated by the lack of opportunities for women compared to the well-established senior men's programs, and inspired by the pride of representing her home on the field, Paxton started with a single team of 14 players. What began as a small initiative quickly flourished, expanding to two teams, then three, proving the demand and passion for women's soccer in Kahnawake.

Surrounding it, the squares and triangles are inspired by the traditional tattoo of Mohawk war chief Joseph Brant, which represents feathers signifying wars fought. This design pays tribute to our heritage, honoring the battles—both historical and present—that shape us as as people and as a team. It reflects the warrior spirit, unity, and determination we bring to the game and our community.
